The Hypocrisy of the ACLU Sometime back in 2013, I desperately searched for assistance from some agency to help ensure my rights were protected. After being: 1.) forced to permit a man, simply because he claimed he thought of himself as a woman, to be within close proximity to me at a “female-only” facility; 2.) threatened with “punishment” for my not referring to such men using female pronouns; 3.) repeatedly harassed and accused of speaking in a “discriminatory” manner, for my continued refusal to make use of female pronouns, when referring to a male individual; 4.) assaulted by and sexually harassed by men who claimed to be women..., I was eventually directed to seek help through the ACLU, by an ignorant attorney. I sent a letter to the ACLU, requesting assistance in the hope that they would help protect my rights. They never responded. Naïve-little-me took a closer look at what the ACLU really did. They had an entire section on their website devoted to “Transgender Rights.” They claimed that there were absolutely “no problems ever reported” relative to a transgender having access to a facility that corresponded with their “gender identity.” And, they further claimed in big, bold letters: “CROSS-DRESSING, SEXUAL PREDATORS ARE A MYTH!” I notice that, at this point in time, such direct claims no longer appear on ACLU’s website. Yet, there are still hints, which can be found there, of their hypocrisy.
On one hand, the ACLU says:
On the other hand, the ACLU demands: So, what I get out of what the ACLU is communicating here is, “We're pretending to support the First Amendment, but what we really want is for you to say what we want you to say; we will bully you into accepting our language/definitions; and, in other words, force you to believe what we want you to believe, because we are going to sue you and make your life hell, until you do our bidding.” The ACLU holding itself up as a social betterment, non-profit organization, that holds no bias, is - in my opinion - nothing more than a front for their hidden agenda(s), and a LIE. |
